Correction: Painting With A Purpose Date Update
Hi there,
We wanted to send a quick note to clear up a mistake in this morning’s newsletter. We mentioned the Painting With A Purpose event was happening this Sunday, but it’s actually scheduled for Saturday, July 26th.
We’re sorry for any confusion! Here’s a quick recap:
If you're looking for a fun way to give back this weekend, grab a seat at the easel for a great cause. Painting with a Twist is hosting a special Painting with a Purpose event this Saturday afternoon benefiting the Kerr County Relief Fund, which helps those impacted by recent flooding.
The class is open to ages 13 and up and led by instructor Lori, who will guide participants step-by-step through creating a 16x20 canvas painting—no art experience needed. It's not about perfection, it's about having fun while supporting an important cause.
All proceeds go directly to the fund, and you can even upgrade your experience by arriving early to create your own custom-scented candle. The event runs from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Saturday at Painting with a Twist (1551 N. Walnut Ave). Seats are limited and reservations are required, so don’t wait if you want in.
Have a great weekend, and make sure to mark this event down for Saturday!
