🤯 What's Happening in New Braunfels This Weekend?
In Partnership With
Happy New Year, New Braunfels! 🎉 We hope you rang in 2026 safely and had a fun, memorable celebration. It’s good to be back in your inbox, and we’re kicking off the first weekend of the year by rounding up some of the best things happening around town.
Whether you’re easing into January with something low-key or ready to get out and enjoy live music, family activities, and local events, we’ve got you covered below.

New Braunfels has some of the hardest water in the country, and that can spell big trouble for your home. From ruining dishwashers and water heaters to drying out your skin and hair, hard water damage adds up fast.
That’s why we trust Aqua-Man Water Conditioning, a locally owned company that’s been protecting homes in the Hill Country for more than 30 years. They offer custom systems tailored to your needs with no gimmicks, just clean, soft water you can count on.

THE BIG BANANA CAR ROLLS BACK INTO NEW BRAUNFELS THIS WEEKEND
Yes, you can actually take a ride — and pay what you want

The Big Banana Car is peeling back into New Braunfels this weekend, offering rides at Freddy’s Frozen Custard on Saturday, January 3, and Sunday, January 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Located at 841 TX-337 Loop, the bright yellow attraction is back by popular demand — because apparently, New Braunfels was just too hard to leave.
Rides are pay-what-you-want, weather permitting, and guests are asked to bring car seats if required by law. It’s quirky, unexpected, and exactly the kind of thing that turns a normal weekend errand into a fun memory.

If you’re a fan of real-deal honky tonk, this is one you don’t want to miss. Ellis Bullard has been making serious noise on the Texas country scene, with Rolling Stone calling him “the new honky tonk singer that country fans need to hear.” He’s shared the stage with artists like Cody Jinks, Jason Boland, Randy Rogers, and Whiskey Myers, and his high-energy, no-frills sound fits perfectly with a Friday night at Happy Cow.
