Find your new best friend at HSNBA this Friday and Saturday

Ready to fall in love? The Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area is hosting its Meet Your Match Adoption Event this Friday and Saturday, with all adoption fees waived for adoption-ready pets. That means your future dog or cat could be waiting without the usual fee attached.

Staff and volunteers will be on hand to help you find the right fit, and several foster caregivers will be bringing pets who are not typically at the shelter, giving you even more animals to meet. Visit HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. on Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM or Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Create a custom portrait at Paint Your Pet this Sunday

Celebrate your furry, feathered, or even scaly friend at the popular Paint Your Pet session at Painting With A Twist New Braunfels this Sunday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at 1551 N. Walnut Ave, Ste 20. For $58 per person, your pet’s photo will be pre-sketched onto a 16x20 canvas, and you’ll receive step-by-step guidance to bring their personality to life. Only eight seats are available, so reservations are required.

Participants ages 13 and up are welcome, and you’re free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Just be sure to send a clear head-and-shoulders photo at eye level ahead of time so your canvas is ready.

You may recognize the national Massage Heights name, but the New Braunfels and Spring Branch/Bulverde locations are locally owned by a Hill Country mother-daughter team, Heather and Holly Huber. What looks like a national brand is actually a community-driven business rooted right here at home.

Heather brings more than 20 years of hands-on massage experience, along with nearly two decades as an instructor, and together they’ve built their locations around personalized care. From customized massages and facials to a membership model designed to make self-care consistent and accessible, their goal is simple: help neighbors manage stress, recover, and recharge.
