A global celebration of sound, right here at home

On Saturday, June 21, New Braunfels joins cities across the globe for Make Music Day—an all-day, all-ages, all-genres music festival popping up on venues all throughout our city.

From 10 am to 10 pm, live performances will take place in unexpected spaces, all open to the public and totally free to enjoy.

The only race where your sneakers and swimwear both make sense

Start your Saturday with a one-of-a-kind adventure at the 15th Annual Dos Rios 5K Splash & Dash. This beloved event lets you choose your race style: run the traditional 5K or take the Chute Challenge—where halfway through, you’ll float through the Comal River Chute before hitting the finish line soaked and smiling.

It’s scenic, thrilling, and ends with free river access and a serious sense of accomplishment. Don’t miss this uniquely New Braunfels race experience.
