✨ Hot Girl Retreat + First Friday Fun in New Braunfels

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Happy Friday, New Braunfels! The weekend is here, and the city’s buzzing with things to do. From local happenings to family-friendly outings and nights on the town, we’ve rounded up what you need to know to make the most of it.

Why Summer Is the Perfect Time to Install a Water Softener in New Braunfels

New Braunfels has some of the hardest water in the country, and that can spell big trouble for your home. From ruining dishwashers and water heaters to drying out your skin and hair, hard water damage adds up fast.

That’s why we trust Aqua-Man Water Conditioning, a locally owned company that’s been protecting homes in the Hill Country for more than 30 years. They offer custom systems tailored to your needs — no gimmicks, just clean, soft water you can count on.

Protect your home before the summer heat makes water issues worse.

A boutique-style getaway launches with Pilates, river floats, and luxe vibes.

This Saturday, September 6, the newly renovated Hacienda Del Rio kicks things off with its first-ever Hot Girl Day Retreat. Guests can look forward to morning Pilates overlooking the Guadalupe, a fresh farm-to-table breakfast, and a day full of upscale amenities—from poolside lounging and pickleball to guided river floats for VIPs.

The retreat is just the start of what’s ahead for Hacienda Del Rio. Formerly the Gruene Outpost River Lodge, the property has been transformed into a boutique resort with Spanish-colonial inspired interiors, a chic clubhouse bar, and prime riverfront access for tubing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

Later this month, the new resort will host its official grand opening Housewarming Party with live music, food trucks, and community programming that promises to make it a local favorite.

An evening of late-night shopping, sips, and prize giveaways.

Downtown comes alive on Friday night for the monthly First Friday celebration. From 5–8 pm, shops will stay open late while guests enjoy free beverage samples, exclusive promotions, and a chance to win prizes.

The fun centers around three official Downtown prize stops, where visitors can sip, get their cards stamped, and enter for a shot at the First Friday Downtown Prize Package.

Whether you’re in the mood for a shopping stroll, happy hour vibes, or just an easy night out in the heart of town, First Friday is your ticket to kick off the weekend in style.
