🌊 River Revival, Massive Gruene Hall Giveaway, + More

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

It’s Friday, New Braunfels! 🎉 A long weekend means more time for rodeo, music, markets, and memory-making. From nights on the town to family-friendly outings, here’s your guide to everything happening locally.

🚗 MASTERING MAIN PLAZA: DRIVE IT LIKE A LOCAL

If you’ve driven through downtown New Braunfels, you know the Main Plaza traffic circle can feel intimidating. But with a few simple tips, you can handle it like a pro:

  • Choose the correct lane early. Stay in the outside lane if you plan to exit soon; use the inside lane for going around further.

  • Always yield before entering. Cars already in the circle have the right of way.

  • Signal clearly. Use your blinker before exiting to keep traffic flowing smoothly.

  • Watch for pedestrians. Crosswalks around the Plaza stay busy, especially on weekends.

The key is slowing down, staying alert, and giving others a little extra space because the smoother everyone drives, the smoother the Plaza works.

Of course, even with the best habits, accidents can still happen. If you find yourself in a tough situation, our partners at The Kyle Law Firm have been standing up for drivers and families across the Hill Country for more than 25 years.

Texas’ oldest dance hall is giving 5 lucky fans a year of free shows

Want to see every hot-ticket show at Texas’ most iconic dance hall in 2026 for free?

Gruene Hall is making it happen. To celebrate 50 years of Molak family ownership, the legendary venue has launched its “Hall Yeah” ticket giveaway, offering five winners and their guests access to every single ticketed concert next year.

Gruene Hall has long been the heart of Texas live music, hosting everyone from George Strait to Miranda Lambert. Now, the Molak family is honoring founder Pat Molak’s legacy by keeping the community at the center of the celebration.

Four days of camping, music, food, and community on the Guadalupe River

River Revival is back now through Sunday, bringing four days of live music, art, and outdoor fun to KL Ranch Camp in New Braunfels. Hosted by Splice Records and Saint Arnold Brewing Company, the festival blends intimate Texas vibes with an all-inclusive experience—meals, camping, and shuttle service are all included in the ticket price.

This year’s event follows a summer of challenges for Central Texas communities impacted by flooding. In solidarity, a portion of proceeds will go to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, ensuring the weekend of music also supports local recovery efforts.

Expect performances from Texas favorites like Uncle Lucius, The Well, and Bayou City Funk, plus yoga sessions, workshops, float parades, kids’ activities, and the always-colorful campsite decorations. Families, music lovers, and river rats alike are welcome.
