Curious about how planes soar, drones hover, or rockets launch? From August 30 to September 1, the Science Mill in Johnson City is hosting Physics of Flight, a special weekend packed with hands-on activities and live demonstrations that bring the science of aerodynamics to life.
Build and launch your own straw rocket, design an airfoil to test Bernoulli’s Principle, and check out custom-built quadcopters up close. Special guests include retired Air Force pilot Ken Langley, representing the Young Eagles program that’s introduced over 2.5 million kids to aviation.
