Painting With A Twist New Braunfels is filling its calendar with holiday-themed paint sessions that turn an ordinary outing into something memorable. From cozy winter scenes and reindeer to glowing northern lights and seasonal designs, thereās no shortage of creative ways to celebrate the season.
The studio is offering a mix of adult evening classes, family-friendly sessions, kids-only events, and Open Studio times throughout December and into early January ā making it an easy, no-stress way to enjoy some holiday fun.

The Science Mill in Johnson City is hosting Wild Arctic Animals during winter break, giving kids a hands-on way to explore how animals survive in the coldest places on Earth. Through interactive activities like blubber experiments, STEM challenges, building Arctic animals out of cardboard, and tracking migrating herds, each visit offers something new to discover.
Itās an easy day trip from New Braunfels and a great option for curious kids. The program runs through January 2 (closed December 24ā25 and January 1) and is free with admission.
