Painting With A Twist New Braunfels is filling its calendar with holiday-themed paint sessions that turn an ordinary outing into something memorable. A COOL WINTER BREAK ADVENTURE JUST A SHORT DRIVE AWAY ❄️🐻‍❄️

The Science Mill in Johnson City is hosting Wild Arctic Animals during winter break, giving kids a hands-on way to explore how animals survive in the coldest places on Earth. Through interactive activities like blubber experiments, STEM challenges, building Arctic animals out of cardboard, and tracking migrating herds, each visit offers something new to discover.

It’s an easy day trip from New Braunfels and a great option for curious kids. The program runs through January 2 (closed December 24–25 and January 1) and is free with admission.
