Looking for a fun, educational day trip with the kids? The Science Mill in Johnson City is hosting STEM in Motion this Saturday, January 17, from 10 am to 4 pm—and it’s packed with hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.

Kids can explore the science behind spinning, bouncing, balance, and motion through interactive challenges that feel more like play than learning. From testing fast spins to measuring bounces and knocking down pins, it’s an engaging way to turn movement into discovery, all just a short drive from New Braunfels.

Don’t miss yoga at the library

Unplug and slow things down with this gentle yoga flow designed for all levels and led by Kaislie Shepherd. It’s a calm, welcoming class that blends movement and mindfulness in a relaxed setting.

The session will be held on Sunday, January 18th from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, at the New Braunfels Public Library Main Library Meeting Room, offering a calm, welcoming space to slow down, stretch, and reset before the week ahead.
