✨ Galentine’s Vibes, Valentine Finds, & Sound Bath Time

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Happy Thursday, New Braunfels! Love is officially in the air, and today’s picks are all about connection, creativity, and taking time for yourself. From a cozy Galentine’s night filled with books and mimosas to a wine-soaked gift market and a calming Sunday sound bath, these are the kind of plans that make February feel a little more special.

We’re excited to welcome T Bar M Camps & Retreats as a new partner of The New Braunfels Life. For decades, T Bar M has been creating Christ-centered camp and retreat experiences that help kids, families, and groups unplug, grow in confidence, and build meaningful relationships, right here in the Texas Hill Country.

Best known for their overnight summer camps, T Bar M offers a rare opportunity in today’s always-connected world: a place where kids can disconnect from screens, experience real community, and grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially. With a strong emphasis on safety, highly trained staff, and an intentional camper-to-coach ratio, families consistently choose T Bar M for experiences that go far beyond “just a week at camp.”

This year marks T Bar M’s 45th anniversary, and it also comes with exciting growth, including major property expansions and new experiences designed for everyone from young kids to adults. In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about their camps, retreats, and what makes T Bar M such a trusted name for families across Central Texas and beyond.

Sip, Shop & Fall for Your Next Favorite Romance Read

Galentine’s plans don’t get much better than this. The Book Haus is hosting a Bookish Galentine’s Night tonight from 5-8 pm filled with romance reads, bubbly mimosas, and fun bookish goodies to browse and buy. It’s a relaxed, feel-good evening centered on friendship, self-love, and great stories.

Whether you’re single, partnered, or just here for the books, this event is all about enjoying good company and discovering your next can’t-put-it-down read. Come sip, shop, laugh, and celebrate the people who make life sweeter.

Local Gifts, Hill Country Wine & Easy Sunday Vibes

The Valentine’s & Wine Gift Market at Winery on the Gruene is the perfect Sunday plan for anyone who loves shopping local with a glass of wine in hand. Browse handpicked vendors offering jewelry, candles, treats, art, and unique Valentine’s finds in a cozy winery setting.

Happening this Sunday, February 8 from 12:00–5:00 PM, this market is ideal for date day, Galentine’s plans, or a solo stroll through thoughtfully made gifts. Whether you’re shopping for a Valentine, your besties, or yourself, this one makes it easy to celebrate.

If open enrollment came and went, there’s no need to stress. Penn Mallery, a local health insurance expert, helps individuals, families, and small businesses enroll in private-market PPO plans that are available year-round, not just during open enrollment.

Penn builds customized coverage with nationwide networks and clear explanations, helping you find a plan that actually fits your needs instead of forcing you into a one-size-fits-all option.
