SAN ANTONIO FAVORITE SOFIA’S PIZZERIA OPENS IN NEW BRAUNFELS

Award-Winning Recipes Move Into the Former Big Bib BBQ Space

A taste of San Antonio has officially landed in New Braunfels. Sofia’s Pizzeria has opened at 508 Landa Street, taking over the former Big Bib BBQ location and bringing its scratch-made dough, fresh sauces, and hand-shredded cheese to town.

Known for big flavors and its ā€œPies for Kids Program,ā€ which donates a portion of pizza sales to children’s nonprofits, Sofia’s has built a loyal following in the Alamo City. Now, locals can grab slices, pasta, and salads made with the same award-winning recipes right here in the Hill Country.

Spring Break is only about a month away, and there’s still time to plan something better than a last-minute scramble. Whether you’re dreaming of a beach escape, a cruise, a family adventure, or finally booking that bucket-list trip, locking it in now means better options and less stress.

Royce Staley with Cruise Planners makes it easy. As a New Braunfels–based, veteran-owned travel advisor, Royce handles every detail — flights, cruises, resorts, tours, and more — tailoring each trip to your style and budget. Best part? His expertise and perks don’t cost you extra. He’s paid by the travel suppliers, not you.
