Fun fact to kick things off: On this day back in 1845, Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels woke up to a snowstorm along the Guadalupe River while scouting the land that would soon become New Braunfels. Just two days later, the first settlers crossed the river, marking what we now celebrate as Founder’s Day.
