🍺 Beer Fest, Western Night, & Schlitterbahn Returns

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Happy Thursday! The weekend’s right around the corner, and there’s already plenty lining up to make it a good one. Whether you’re in the mood for cold drinks, live music, or planning ahead for summer fun, today’s email is loaded with lots of great info. Here’s what’s worth checking out…

If your glasses are coming out of the dishwasher cloudy or covered in spots, it’s probably not your detergent, it’s New Braunfels’ hard water. Those minerals leave behind buildup that makes even clean dishes look dirty, no matter how much you scrub.

Aqua-Man Water Conditioning helps fix the problem at the source with water softening solutions designed for Hill Country water. The result? Clear, spotless dishes straight from the cycle and less buildup on your appliances over time.

An afternoon of tastings, live music, and good vibes for a great cause

If you’re looking for a solid Saturday plan, the Hill Country Craft Beer Festival is back at the Wurstfest Grounds on April 25 from 2:30 to 8:00 PM. This annual event brings together a wide lineup of craft beers, wine, live music, and classic festival energy all in one place.

Beyond the drinks and atmosphere, it’s all for a good cause, supporting Meals on Wheels through the Comal County Senior Citizens Foundation. Whether you’re going with friends or just want to try something new, it’s one of those events that’s easy to enjoy for a few hours.

Live music, great food, and a night that gives back

Later that same day, the Western Heritage Fundraiser at Freiheit Country Store runs from 5:30 to 10:00 PM, bringing together live music, a burger bar, and a silent auction in a laid-back, community-focused setting.

It’s more than just a fun night out. Proceeds support the Comal County Sheriff’s Posse, helping fund scholarships, youth programs, and local initiatives. It’s a simple way to enjoy the night while supporting something meaningful.

If your date night plans are starting to feel the same every time, Painting With A Twist gives you something different. These guided paint sessions are relaxed, social, and actually fun, whether you’re celebrating something or just want a low-effort night out.

No experience needed. Just show up, follow along, and leave with something you made together. It’s simple, creative, and way better than another basic dinner.

SCHLITTERBAHN IS ALMOST SET TO REOPEN FOR SUMMER

Kick off waterpark season with a brand new attraction

Summer is officially on the way. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels reopens May 2 with a new addition: the Wasserbahn Racers, a three-lane mat racing slide built into the hillside. It’s the kind of upgrade that makes opening weekend even more worth it.

Along with the new ride, the park is celebrating 30 years of the Master Blaster and bringing back more than 40 attractions across the property. Weekend operations start May 2, with daily summer hours beginning Memorial Day weekend.
