IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Happy Thursday, New Braunfels! The weekend is almost here, and today’s edition has a little bit of everything. We’ve got a Neil Diamond tribute concert at the Brauntex, a fun Crazy Hair Day for families at McKenna Children’s Museum, and a wine and cheese tasting night at Otto’s Cheese Shop perfect for a Friday night out.

If you’re self-employed, running a small business, freelancing, or working independently around New Braunfels, finding affordable health insurance can feel overwhelming fast. Our partner Penn Mallery works with local families and business owners to help find flexible PPO plans designed around real needs and budgets, without all the confusing fine print and pressure.

Penn was able to help us with our own insurance, and while we’re definitely not health insurance experts ourselves, we know how valuable it is having someone local who can actually explain your options clearly and help you figure out what works best for your situation.

A nationally touring tribute show is bringing Neil Diamond’s biggest hits to downtown New Braunfels tonight

The Brauntex Theatre will host So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience tonight, featuring performer Robert Neary recreating the sound, energy, and stage presence of one of music’s most iconic entertainers. Backed by the band The Mystic, the show highlights many of Neil Diamond’s most beloved songs in a full concert-style experience that has toured across the country.

Very few tickets are left at this time, but if you act fast, you may still be able to get in.

McKenna Children’s Museum is turning crazy hairstyles into discounted family fun

Crazy Hair Day returns to McKenna Children’s Museum this Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, inviting kids and families to arrive with their most creative hairstyles for a day of playful fun. Guests who participate with themed hairstyles will receive special discounted admission while enjoying the museum’s interactive exhibits and activities.

The event has become a fun tradition for families looking for an easy and entertaining outing around town, especially for younger kids who love getting creative and silly for the day.

Triple-digit Texas heat is right around the corner, and now’s the time to make sure your AC system is ready before the real summer temperatures roll in. A simple maintenance check now can help prevent expensive breakdowns later, especially when your system is working overtime.

Our partners at Rise Service Company offer professional AC tune-ups that include a 21-point inspection, coil cleaning, electrical testing, refrigerant checks, and more to help keep your system running efficiently all summer long. It’s one of those things you’ll be very glad you handled before the first brutal heat wave shows up.

Plans include safer street designs, improved speed management, expanded bike infrastructure, and additional safety improvements in high-risk areas across the city.

While efforts like this are an important step forward, accidents can still happen. If you ever find yourself dealing with the aftermath of a crash, our partners at Kyle Law Firm are there to help guide you through the process and make sure you’re taken care of during a difficult time.
