Summer is about to get even better for Mayfair residents. Construction is moving ahead on Mayfair's Midtown Swim Club, a new resident-only amenity expected to open in late July as part of the growing Midtown Mayfair community.

The new space will feature a stunning two-tier pool by Keith Zars, poolside cabanas, picnic and lounge areas, a covered pavilion, and flexible green spaces designed for relaxation, recreation, and gathering with friends and neighbors. Once complete, the Swim Club will join Celebration Hall as the second major community amenity to open this summer.

Residents can dispose of large household items for free at multiple locations across the city

Need to clear out old furniture, mattresses, or other oversized household items? New Braunfels' quarterly Bulky Goods Drop-Off Day returns on Saturday 7-11 AM, giving residents a free and convenient way to dispose of items that don't fit in regular trash carts.

Four drop-off locations will be available throughout the city, and residents can bring up to five oversized items and four passenger vehicle tires (without rims). It's a great opportunity to tackle garage cleanouts, declutter the house, or finally get rid of those items taking up space.

DID YOU KNOW?

Generations of New Braunfels High School students once spent their weekends at a teen center called the Unicorn Stable. Open weekend nights, it was the go-to place for dances, dates, post-football game gatherings, and hanging out with friends.
