šŸ“ÆFat Tuesday Fun, Beatles Tribute, & More New Braunfels Happenings

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Happy Tuesday, New Braunfels! Hope your week is off to a good start so far. There’s a lot to take in this week, from brass-packed Fat Tuesday celebration to a Beatles night built for singing along and a cozy creative morning with coffee in hand, there’s something happening at every speed. Let’s lock in your plans.

Healthcare costs keep climbing, and for many Texans, that’s meant putting off doctor visits or skipping care altogether. When plans feel complicated and call centers leave you more confused than confident, it’s easy to feel stuck.

Penn Mallery works directly with Hill Country families and small businesses to simplify the process. He breaks down coverage options in plain terms, helps compare plans side by side, and focuses on solutions that fit real budgets, not sales quotas. It’s local guidance, personalized support, and clarity you can actually use.

A Mardi Gras-inspired night of brass, rhythm, and nonstop energy at the Brauntex

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy brings their signature swing sound to the Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre tonight for a high-octane Fat Tuesday performance. With more than 30 years at the forefront of America’s swing revival, the band blends classic jazz, Dixieland, and big band influences with modern energy and bold stage presence. Expect powerhouse horns, infectious rhythms, and a festive atmosphere that feels straight out of Bourbon Street.

The concert takes place tonight starting at 7:30 pm at 290 W San Antonio St., New Braunfels, and as of right now, some tickets still remain.

In New Braunfels, hard water is not a maybe. It is a guarantee. Mineral buildup can quietly impact your appliances, plumbing, water taste, and even your skin and hair over time. Clear water does not always mean clean or balanced water.

That is why we partner with Aqua-Man Water Conditioning. With more than 30 years of experience serving the Hill Country, they design custom filtration and conditioning systems built specifically for local water conditions. The result is better-tasting water, longer-lasting appliances, and a home that runs more smoothly day to day.

Kaffeeklatsch returns with mosaic flowers and community connection

February’s Kaffeeklatsch invites you to slow down and enjoy a relaxed morning of coffee, sweet treats, and hands-on crafting. This month’s project features mosaic flowers made from seeds and beans, offering a creative and welcoming space to connect with others in the community.

The gathering takes place Wednesday, February 18 at 9:00 am at the Emmie Seele Faust Library inside the Sophienburg Museum and Archives, 401 W. Coll Street, New Braunfels.

DID YOU KNOW?

Not long after Pat Molak purchased Gruene Hall in 1975, he gave a young artist named George Strait a Sunday afternoon slot to play. The cover was less than a dollar, and Strait and his band reportedly made just $7 that day.
