🏛️ Free Museum Days, Trivia Night & Adoption Weekend

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Happy Tuesday! How’s the start of your week been going?

Today’s email has a little bit of everything, free museum visits, trivia nights with friends, and a chance to meet a future furry best friend. Whether you’re looking for something low-key, family-friendly, or just a good excuse to get out of the house, New Braunfels has some solid options coming up over the next few days.

New Braunfels has some of the hardest water in Texas, packed with minerals like calcium and magnesium that can slowly wear down appliances, leave spots everywhere, and create buildup inside pipes and water heaters over time.

That’s why so many locals turn to Aqua-Man Water Conditioning. For more than 30 years, they’ve been helping Hill Country homeowners deal with hard water using systems designed specifically for the kind of water we have here.

Several local museums are opening their doors with free admission

Free Museum Days are returning to New Braunfels, giving locals and visitors a chance to explore some of the city’s most interesting museums without paying admission. Throughout the week, participating spots including the McKenna Children’s Museum, Sophienburg Museum + Archives, the Railroad Museum, the Fire Museum, and more will offer free entry during select days and hours.

From local history and handmade furniture to fire trucks and interactive exhibits for kids, there’s a pretty wide mix of experiences included. It’s an easy excuse to explore places you may have never visited before or revisit a favorite spot around town.

A new weekly tradition with prizes, food, and bragging rights

Freiheit Country Store is now hosting free live trivia every Tuesday at 6:30 PM, giving locals a fun new reason to grab friends and get out during the week.

Teams can compete for prizes and bragging rights while enjoying food, drinks, and a mix of fun questions through Challenge Entertainment’s National Trivia League format. No registration is needed, just show up, form a team, and play.

If you’re looking for something different to do outside New Braunfels, Joshua Creek Ranch in Boerne is rolling out new sporting clay programs and events this spring and summer that make for a pretty solid day outdoors.

From shoot days and rewards programs to seasonal specials and discounts, there are plenty of ways to spend more time on the course while saving a little money too. And at just about an hour away, it’s an easy Hill Country escape whether you’re going with friends, family, or making a full weekend out of it.

Between cedar fever, dust, humidity, and Hill Country allergens, indoor air in New Braunfels can end up more polluted than the air outside. If your home constantly feels dusty, stuffy, or triggers allergies, your HVAC system could be circulating way more than just cold air.

That’s where Rise Service Company comes in. They offer hospital-grade air purification, high-efficiency filtration, and professional duct cleaning designed to help families breathe cleaner, healthier air at home.

Whether you’ve been thinking about adding a pet to the family or just want to stop by and meet some animals, this is a great opportunity to support local rescues while potentially bringing home a new companion.
