The New Braunfels Public Library will host a Children’s Sound Bath Workshop on Friday at10 AM, offering kids ages 5–7 a peaceful and engaging experience centered around sound, relaxation, and self-awareness. Led by Indigo Ikemba, the workshop uses singing bowls, chimes, percussion instruments, and guided listening activities to help children develop focus, confidence, and emotional regulation.

Designed to be interactive and age-appropriate, the session provides a welcoming environment where children can explore mindfulness through play and creativity. Registration is required, and space is limited.

The annual Kops & Kids Safety Picnic returns to New Braunfels on Thursday from 4-7 PM, bringing an evening packed with activities, entertainment, and opportunities for families to connect with local first responders. Held at the Landa Park Dance Slab, this free community event combines fun and education while helping children learn important safety lessons in an engaging way.
