A German-inspired gathering returns to the Sophienburg.
Looking for a relaxing way to spend your Wednesday morning? The Sophienburg Museum's monthly Kaffeeklatsch gathering returns on Wednesday morning at 9 am, inviting guests to enjoy coffee, sweet treats, conversation, and a hands-on craft in a welcoming atmosphere inspired by the German tradition of gathering with friends.
This month's featured project is creating flowers from book pages and music sheets, offering a fun and creative experience for attendees of all skill levels. Whether you're coming with friends or looking to meet new people, Kaffeeklatsch is a unique way to connect with the community while enjoying a slower pace.

Live music, food trucks, and family fun return to one of New Braunfels' favorite outdoor venues.
The popular Live @ Landa Concert Series returns on Thursday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a free performance from Cactus Country, along with opening act Elysha Lemaster. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of live music beneath the trees at the Landa Park Dance Slab.
The family-friendly event also includes activities for kids and food vendors, making it a great excuse to spend a summer evening outdoors with friends and family.

Pet lovers, this one's for you! Painting with a Twist New Braunfels is hosting a special Paint Your Pet event on Sunday, June 21 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, giving you the chance to create a personalized portrait of your favorite furry (or scaly) friend.
Simply send in a photo of your pet ahead of time, and the artists will pre-sketch it onto your canvas before class. During the event, you'll receive step-by-step instruction to bring your pet's personality to life, making it a fun experience for both beginner and experienced painters alike. Ages 13 and up are welcome, and you're encouraged to bring your favorite snacks and drinks.
