🎉 Mahjong Fun, Fischer Park Storytime & A New Chapter For NBISD
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
Happy Tuesday, New Braunfels! Hope you’re having a good start to the week so far.
We’ve got a little bit of everything in today’s lineup, from a fun way to spend your morning to a family-friendly activity and an exciting update in local education. Here’s what’s worth knowing around town right now.

If microblading hasn't given you the results you wanted, Nano Brows may be worth considering. This digital technique creates fine, hair-like strokes designed to look more natural while offering softer healing and long-lasting pigment.
Our partners at Newman & Company, New Braunfels' premier med spa, specialize in fully customized Nano Brows. Their team works with you to create the right shape, color, and density for your features and lifestyle, so your brows look natural rather than one-size-fits-all.

A relaxed way to play, connect, and meet other Mahjong fans
If you already know the basics of Mahjong, head over to The Sophienburg for a casual open-play session on today from 11 AM to 2 PM. Even if you’ve only taken one lesson, you’re welcome to join in. No formal instruction will be provided, but newer players can find others to play with.
Bring your own Mahjong card if you have one, or borrow one provided at the event. It’s a simple way to enjoy the game, meet new people, and spend a few hours connecting with the local community.

Enjoy stories, activities, and a morning out in the park
Fischer Park Family Storytime returns this Wednesday morning from 9:30–10:30 AM at the Hilltop Pavilion. The outdoor program combines stories and activities designed to encourage early literacy and help kids develop a love of reading.
Children of all ages and siblings are welcome, making this an easy midweek activity for the whole family. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the program may move to the New Braunfels Public Library Main Branch.

Spots on your dishes, stains in your sinks, or hard-to-clean shower glass could all be signs that something is going on with your home's water. If you've also noticed an unusual taste or odor, it may be time to find out exactly what's in it.
Our partners at Aqua-Man Water Conditioning offer a FREE, no-obligation water analysis to help you understand your water before recommending any treatment options. Every home is different, and testing is the first step toward finding the right solution.

DID YOU KNOW?
The Comal Sanitarium, established in the early 1920s along the Comal River, was the site of the first X-ray machine in the state of Texas. Dr. Arthur Bergfeld imported the machine from Germany at a cost of $4,000, bringing cutting-edge medical technology to a small Hill Country community at a time when many larger cities didn’t yet have access to it.
