Grab your smartest friends and compete for prizes at Duesy’s Tavern

Thinks & Drinks Trivia Tuesday returns to Duesy’s Tavern (formerly The Villa) in Gruene tonight starting at 7:30. Hosted by Rick of Challenge Entertainment, the free game night features team competition, fun questions, and prizes.

Duesy’s gift cards are up for grabs, with additional prize money added throughout the night. The top three teams split the final prize pool, so bringing your A-game could pay off.

Bring your instrument or just come enjoy the music

The Every Tuesday Blues Jam returns to Guadalupe Brewing Company & Pizza Kitchen tonight from 6:30–9 PM. The Jamie Krueger Group hosts a full-band jam where musicians can jump in, trade solos, and play alongside other local talent.

A full backline is provided, and food and drinks will be available throughout the evening. The outdoor setting is also family-friendly and pet-friendly, making it an easy night out whether you're playing or listening.

Hunting season is almost here, and our partners at Joshua Creek Ranch in Boerne have released their Fall 2026 Open Line Shoot schedule. With 8 dates and 15 driven pheasant and mallard shoots running from September through New Year’s Eve, there are plenty of opportunities to get out in the Texas Hill Country.

You don’t need to bring a full group. Open Line Shoots let individual hunters reserve a spot and join fellow wingshooting enthusiasts for a European-style driven shooting experience. The season kicks off September 26 and includes special Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve shoots.

One of New Braunfels' biggest business events is coming up! The 38th Annual New Braunfels Business Expo returns Tuesday, September 15, bringing together more than 1,500 attendees and businesses for a day of networking, product showcases, food, entertainment, giveaways, and more.

Whether you're looking to discover local businesses, make new connections, or promote your own company, the Expo is a great way to get involved in the local business community. Choose from the daytime session from 10:30 AM–4 PM or the evening session from 5:30–8 PM at the New Braunfels Civic & Convention Center.

Get hands-on and take home your own freshly made cheese

Otto’s Cheese Shop is hosting The Best Mozzarella Making Class on Wednesday night at 6:30 PM. During this hands-on experience, you'll learn how to stretch, shape, and make fresh mozzarella while picking up tips about cheese science and technique.

The class lasts about 60–90 minutes, and you'll get to take home the mozzarella you make. Admission is $43.30, with the class taking place at 344 Landa St. in New Braunfels.

DID YOU KNOW?

Alpine Haus is located inside one of New Braunfels’ historic homes, originally built for an early settler. According to the historical marker outside the restaurant, construction on the building likely began in 1850.
