Free Events, Creative Programs & Community for All Ages

When most people think of the New Braunfels Public Library, they picture bookshelves and quiet corners. What often goes unnoticed is the packed calendar of free events happening every single week at both the Main Library and Westside Branch, designed for kids, teens, adults, and everyone in between.

From weekly storytimes and Teen Time hangouts to Adult Art Classes, Sit & Stitch meetups, tech help sessions, book clubs, and even Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, the library has quietly become one of the city’s most active community hubs. And this is just a snapshot. With rotating workshops and seasonal programs added often, there’s always something new to check out.
