Family Storytime is back at Fischer Park starting today, and it’s the perfect way to spend a Wednesday morning with your little ones. Families will gather at the Hilltop Pavilion at 9:30 am for stories, songs, and a fun craft in a relaxed outdoor setting.

It’s free, it’s fresh air, and it’s a sweet way to build early literacy skills while making midweek memories.

A confidence-boosting reading experience for young readers

PAWS to Read returns to the New Braunfels Public Library on Friday from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Main Library Meeting Room. This free program allows children to read aloud to certified therapy animals in a calm, encouraging environment.

It’s designed to help early readers build confidence, improve literacy skills, and associate reading with something positive and fun. All ages are welcome, with a focus on early childhood and elementary students.

Urgent call for puppy milk replacer and wet food

The Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area is nearly out of puppy milk replacer and wet puppy food after an increase in orphaned bottle baby puppies. These little ones require around-the-clock care from dedicated foster families, and supplies are running low.

Donations of puppy milk replacer (powder preferred) and puppy wet food are urgently needed. Items can be dropped off at 3353 Morningside Dr in New Braunfels or purchased through their Amazon Wishlist and shipped directly to the shelter.

Thrive Pet Healthcare Moving To New Location April 1
Thrive Pet Healthcare New Braunfels will begin seeing patients at CanyonVet New Braunfels, located at 1935 State Highway 46 West, Suite 106, starting April 1. Appointments will continue at the S. Walnut location through March 31 at 6 pm. The same trusted team will remain in place, now with expanded weekday and Saturday hours and additional veterinarians to better serve local pets.

Live @ Landa Free Concert Series Returns This Spring
The Live @ Landa Concert Series is back at the Landa Park Dance Slab, bringing free, family-friendly concerts from 6 pm to 9 pm on the third Thursday of March through June, plus a July 4 finale ahead of the fireworks show. This year’s lineup includes The Joel Hoffmann Band, Slim Bawb & The Fabulous Stumpgrinders, The Billie Jeans, Cactus Country, and VHS 90’s. Expect live music, kids’ activities, food trucks, and plenty of lawn chairs and blankets.

SpringHill Suites River Village Reaches Major Construction Milestone
The new SpringHill Suites New Braunfels River Village has officially topped out. The eight-story, 150-suite hotel will feature direct access to roughly 700 feet of Guadalupe River frontage and is targeting an early 2027 opening.
