A piece of Gruene history just got a fresh new chapter. HD Gruene Mercantile is officially celebrating their grand opening this weekend inside the original 1904 mercantile building, now beautifully restored and filled with apparel, gifts, and home goods from 70+ Texas-based brands.

Looking for something simple and fun to do this week? Fischer Park is hosting a free outdoor movie night featuring the live-action Lilo & Stitch. The event kicks off at 7:30 PM, with the movie starting at 8:15 PM, so bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and settle in for a relaxed evening.
Food trucks will be on-site, making it easy to grab a bite while you enjoy the show with family and friends. It’s one of those low-effort, high-fun nights that’s perfect for all ages.

A fun, 21+ event supporting the future of local teens
If you’re looking for something a little different, Adult Recess is bringing a playful, 21+ night to the Mill Street Youth Center this Friday from 6-9 PM. It’s all about stepping back into fun while supporting a great cause connected to local teens.

Big Wins for NBISD Soccer Teams
It was a strong start to the playoffs for New Braunfels ISD, with both NBHS and Long Creek girls soccer teams advancing past bi-district. The Unicorns held off a late push from Leander to secure a 3-2 win, while Long Creek made history with a 5-2 victory in their first-ever playoff appearance.
