🩰 Cinderella, Beatles Hits, & Brunch Fun

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Happy Wednesday! We’re officially getting into the part of the week where weekend plans start looking a lot more tempting, and New Braunfels already has a pretty solid lineup ahead. From live music and brunch vibes to a classic fairytale on stage, there’s a little something for every mood.

Healthcare feels different when your doctor actually has time for you. Our partner Dr. Jason Nelson has spent more than 25 years caring for local families in New Braunfels and now offers an MDVIP-affiliated practice focused on longer appointments, greater availability, and proactive wellness.

Located at 1441 Whispering Woods Trail, his practice supports patients of all ages with care centered around prevention, long-term health, and quality of life, not just quick visits and rushed conversations.

A magical family-friendly ballet takes the stage this weekend

A classic story comes to life at the Brauntex Theatre as Ballet Texas presents Cinderella with showtimes on Friday and Saturday. Filled with graceful choreography, music, and storytelling, it’s the kind of show that feels timeless no matter your age.

The production features a talented children’s cast and brings the beloved fairy tale to life through dance, following Cinderella’s journey from hardship to a magical night at the royal ball. Whether you’re planning a family outing or just looking for something different to experience this weekend, this is a fun one to add to the calendar.

A high-energy live music night with a fresh take on iconic songs

If you love classic rock, this one’s worth checking out. The Lonely Hearts Club takes over Krause’s Cafe on Friday night, bringing a lively Beatles-inspired performance packed with familiar hits and plenty of energy.

Rather than doing straight-up impersonations, the Austin-based band puts its own spin on the music while keeping the spirit of the originals alive. Add in food, drinks, and the atmosphere at Krause’s, and you’ve got an easy recipe for a solid night out.

Back in 2022, local attorney Matt Kyle took the stage at the Brauntex Theatre as legendary football coach Vince Lombardi in Lombardi: An American Play About Vince Lombardi, a special production that helped raise money for local high school band programs.

It’s just one example of how connected Matt is to the New Braunfels community. Beyond his legal work at The Kyle Law Firm, he’s spent decades supporting local causes, getting involved in community events, and giving back to the town he’s proud to call home.
