Celebrate one of cinema's most iconic thrillers with crafts, snacks, and family fun at the library
On Thursday, July 30, the New Braunfels Public Library is inviting the community to celebrate Shark Week with a special screening of Steven Spielberg's legendary film JAWS. The free event runs from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Main Library Meeting Room and includes themed crafts, snacks, and plenty of fun for movie lovers of all ages.
While JAWS is officially rated PG, the library notes that parents may wish to consider its PG-13 parent guide rating when deciding if it's appropriate for younger viewers. Whether you're revisiting the classic or introducing it to a new generation, it's a fun way to celebrate one of the most influential summer blockbusters ever made.

The Pivo & Polka Band brings traditional music and festive energy to one of New Braunfels' favorite gathering spots
Pivo & Polka Band will perform live at Krause's Cafe tonight, filling the beer garden with lively polka music, dancing, and plenty of Gemütlichkeit. Made up of professional musicians and music educators from the New Braunfels and San Antonio area, the band has become a favorite at community events across Central Texas.
Guests can enjoy an evening of traditional tunes while sampling Krause's signature German fare, refreshing drinks, and welcoming outdoor atmosphere. It's the perfect midweek outing for anyone looking to experience a little local culture and great live music.

Heavy rainfall like the kind we got a little more than a week ago can introduce sediment and other contaminants that affect your home's water quality. Our partners at Aqua-Man Water Solutions help New Braunfels homeowners enjoy cleaner, better-tasting water with professionally installed water softeners and customized filtration systems designed to protect your home and your family.
For more than 30 years, Aqua-Man Water Solutions has been a trusted local expert, providing reliable solutions that keep your water running at its best—no matter the weather.
