🐾 DOGGIE DIP DAY RETURNS TO LANDA PARK THIS WEEKEND

The pool goes to the dogs (literally) for one afternoon only.

Get ready, New Braunfels dog lovers, because one of the most tail-wagging events of the year is splashing back into town this Sunday, September 7, from 12–4 pm at the Springfed Pool in Landa Park.

It’s one of the rare times the pool officially belongs to the pups. Expect leash-free fun as water-loving dogs paddle, play, and socialize while their humans cheer them on. Tickets are $8 per guest (limit two dogs per person), and you’ll need to bring proof of current rabies vaccination for each furry swimmer.

🧀 CHEESE LOVERS REJOICE: S’MAC’N NOODLES IS COMING TO NEW BRAUNFELS

A customizable mac ’n’ cheese restaurant is bubbling up in town.

Seguin’s cult-favorite comfort food spot, sMAC’n Noodles, is expanding to New Braunfels with a new location at 1515 N Walnut Ave. Forget the days of mac ’n’ cheese being a side dish—this restaurant puts it center stage with scratch-made pasta, house-smoked brisket, and creative mix-ins ranging from blistered tomatoes to chicharron crumbs.

Guests can build their own cheesy bowls, choose from featured flavors like Buffalo or tikka, or dive into the rotating “Mac of the Month”—this month’s being the adventurous K-Pop Mac. With gluten-free and vegan options available, there’s something for everyone at this carb-friendly paradise.

Drivers in New Braunfels can expect smoother rides soon as intersection improvements continue at six major city intersections. Funded by the 2023 bond, upgrades include new turn lanes, pedestrian signals, and updated traffic technology, with completion anticipated by December.

🍔 Brother Duo Brings Neighborhood Eats to Hill Country
Chase and Seth Katz are expanding their San Marcos culinary ventures to New Braunfels with a new bar & grill and Dos Gatos Kolaches eatery.
