š° New Braunfels City Council Approves $114.6M Budget for FY 2025-26
Uniformed public safety staff will see pay increases starting in October following City Councilās approval of the cityās $114.6 million general fund budget and a tax rate of $0.4089 per $100 valuation. The budget also includes new positions, feasibility studies, and extended funding timelines for key city projects.
ā½ Fischerās Neighborhood Market to Open New Store in Town
The company is planning to open a brand-new store in New Braunfels, nicknamed the āUnicorn,ā near Highway 46.
š£ļø Solms Road Improvement Project Advances in New Braunfels
City Council approved a $789,131 contract for final plans on the Solms Road Improvement Project, which will upgrade the roadway from I-35 frontage road to FM 482. The project includes a three-lane curbed road, underground drainage, ADA-compliant shared-use path, sidewalk, traffic signal, and pedestrian improvements, funded as part of the cityās 2023 Bond Program.
